24 September 2006

Well, my life is so uninteresting at the moment. Plus I've been feeling a little low, so I've not really been wanting to write.

We had a park lesson for Tai Chi last Sunday at Hyde Park. We fortunately managed to miss out on getting rained on and had a reasonable morning. I was informed that the newsletter I'd slaved over all week wasn't good enough. I said I wasn't able to work on it any more and passed it onto someone else. It's now no longer a newsletter, but a book. All in commemoration of the 20th anniversary stuff a few weeks ago.

Went to the movies yesterday with a mate and saw Stormbreaker. The movie's based on a book by Anthony Horowitz. It'll be interesting to see if he follows in JK Rowling's footsteps and does the rest of the books into film - especially since book 7 (yet to be written) may feature sunny Perth! The movie was reasonably good, if you can get past the unbelievable stuff that a 14-year-old boy is doing. Although I did have a good chuckle over the dead pigeon towards the end of the film...Thanks, Boo...

Oh, and one of the previews we had was for Happy Feet. Which I see has Steve Irwin in it - I wonder if he's playing himself, since he doesn't appear to have a character name next to his. But I was more sold on the fact that the preview just consisted of a tap-dancing penguin chick. So cute!
