Well, I've gotten two of my parcels out today. I have a couple left to go. However, I think that it won't be until Monday, so I'll apologise to people who may end up getting their Christmas presents late. I'm getting kinda excited about Christmas now. I think it's mostly because I'm feeling a little more organised present-wise for once.

It's also the start of all the various parties. Not that I have that many to go to. Tomorrow night is my work do - Hyatt Office Party. I wonder what bad cover band we'll be subjected to? Previous years has seen Abbasolutely, Neil Sapphire, and a Village People rip-off (I can't remember what they were called).

The following weekend (for once, it's not on the day following my work party!) is our Tai Chi Christmas dinner. People have been ringing me frantically saying that they want to come, and thought that the cut-off day was Sunday (which was what was on the leaflets). Fortunately, the numbers don't have to be finalised until Monday, so they really do have a couple more days to get their acts together. No doubt I'll still have some people turning up on the night expecting that there'll be enough food to go round...

Then after all that, I get the joys of my root canal work. And then Christmas itself!
