At Nettie's demand, here's another post (I was going to do one today, anyway. Honest!)
I can't think of anything exceptionally exciting that's been going on at the moment. I did, however, take my camera to work with me on Friday (sorry, no work -related pics). What I did get was a few photos of Matthew Henshaw, the sword swallowing pirate! Now, when I first saw his act a few years back, he carried his equipment around in a box made up as a coffin, and did a few stunts, such as escaping from a bundle of locked chains and straightjacket. He used to conclude his act by showing what got him into the Guinness World Records originally, which was simultaneously swallowing 14 swords.
Nowadays, he's carting his equipment around in this:

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to see his act, since he was only setting up during the second half of my lunch break. I have no idea what his act is nowadays, although he did say that he finishes by swallowing just a single sword. Ah well, maybe I'll have the opportunity to catch the act another time.
