Apologies for not writing for a while. It's just that nothing really interesting has been going on in my life at the moment. Okay, yes there was trekking out to Nettie's place last Saturday, which was a bit of an adventure. Actually, getting out of the suburb Nettie lives in was more of a problem than getting in was. I ended up taking a wrong turn before I'd barely left her place, and took more wrong turns trying to correct the first turn...silly me. It doesn't help that they don't believe in streelights and decent street signs out her way, either. Anyhow, I did manage to get back onto well lit streets and wound my way home safely.

There was the census on Tuesday night. Not that our family ever fills the thing in on the night. I've got to go dig out my resume and see what my highest qualification is. Thrills. Heh, and looking through what has been filled in already, a few things have been marked wrong! Oh no!!

Thursday night I came home and discovered that the toilet light broken. How, I hear you ask? I don't know. All I can tell you is that it got switched on, and the switch is now stuck in the on position. We ended up having to pull the fuse and take the lightbulb out for safety. We can't get the electrician out to fix it until first thing Monday morning. In the meantime, we're having to take a torch to the toilet when it's dark.

And I was quite surprised that I managed to pick up a copy of The Corpse Bride on DVD for only $12 last night. Bargain!
